About Amy

Where I Write From
Much of my inspiration comes from the places I explore. Walking the streets of Paris, standing on the Titanic slipways in Belfast, or staring out at an ocean horizon — these moments shape the way I see both history and possibility.

Travel invites perspective. Perspective invites courage. Courage invites change. And change is the thread that connects all my work.
Hi, I’m Amy — an author, traveler, and storyteller at heart. I write books about reinvention, resilience, and what it means to build a life that truly feels like your own.

My Journey
For more than a decade, I owned and ran my own travel business. Later, I stepped into the corporate world in search of stability — and discovered that success on paper doesn’t always equal fulfillment. I spent years feeling like I “should” stay, even as I could feel my life shrinking around me.

Everything shifted the day I realized I didn’t have to stay in a job that drained me. I could choose differently. And that choice — that moment — set me on this path.

Today, I’m an author-entrepreneur writing stories that help others reconnect with possibility, courage, and the belief that a different future is within reach.

What I Write
My debut nonfiction book, You Don’t Have to Stay (coming March 1), is an inspirational guide for anyone who feels stuck in a job that’s slowly wearing them down. Drawing on my own experience of leaving corporate exhaustion to reclaim my time, creativity, and autonomy, this book offers both a mindset shift and a compass for change.

I’m also writing a historical fiction novel inspired by a Titanic survivor — a story of survival, legacy, and hope, set across Europe at the dawn of World War I. It explores the quiet strength of beginning again, even when the world has changed around you.

Together, real-world reinvention and historical storytelling, form the heart of my work.
